# Baby Zebras

Baby Zebras are simply the cuter and tiny version of their Adult Zebras, having a few stages of growth. There’d be an in-game baby zebra character (with a pacifier), which would grow over time, and the NFT art would be an Adult ZazzyZebra. The metadata would specify the age and feed cycles of this baby ZazzyZebra NFT

## Stages of Growth

A baby zebra must complete 90 feed cycles to become an adult. To keep things simple, 1 feed cycle happens every day. There are three stages of growth for each baby Zebra, which are as follows:

## Skill Sets

Each player, who has successfully bred baby Zebra, would be given the choice to master one obstacle course from the available obstacle courses of Race-to-Realm. Later, the adult Zebra with a refined skill set would have the option of skipping through that specific obstacle course without the use of SKIP Card. The duration of each skill level is 5 days and to complete any given skill level set it would take 15 Days. These skill levels are linear which means each player begins at Noob I and can progress all the way up to Pro X. Each skill level set has a varying percentage of Skip Accuracy, which can be calculated as per the table below:

## Feeding Cycle

Players would be required to burn 1 $ZEAL to feed 1 baby Zebra every day. Players can choose to skip through all the stages of growth by burning 200 $ZEAL altogether. For those players, who chooses to go through the progressive route, there are some rules to feed cycles, which are as follows:

| ***Feed Delay*** | **Potential Damage** |
| ---------------: | :-------------------------------: |
| *1 Day* | Skill level resets to I |
| *2 Days* | Skill set reverts to the previous |
| *3 Days* | Baby Zebra passes away |

> Adult Zebras don’t need feeding and only Adult Zebras can compete in the Race to Realm
